React Native app development in Sydney

We build React Native and Expo apps for iOS and Android from one codebase. That’s how Pantry Pic is built, so we know the stack from first commit to the App Store.

FAQs

Common questions.

Still unsure? Call Dylan on 0401 758 249.

Is React Native good enough for a production app?

Yes. Pantry Pic is a React Native app with camera-based AI and subscriptions on iOS and Android. For most apps, users can’t tell it from a native one.

React Native or Flutter?

Both work. We use React Native because it’s TypeScript, it shares code and people with React web apps, and Expo makes builds and updates simple.

When should I build native instead?

When the app is mostly heavy graphics, AR or deep device features, or you only need one platform and plan to stay that way.

Can you upgrade my old React Native app?

Usually, yes. We audit it first, then upgrade in steps so the app keeps working between releases.

How much does a React Native app cost?

Most cost $25k–$100k+, depending on features. One codebase for both platforms is a big part of why it costs less than two native apps.
